Protean Presents on the Use of Image Analysis for the Risk Classification of Barrett’s Esophagus
Barrett’s esophagus is a common condition that occasionally progresses to become invasive and possibly fatal cancer. Improved classification and early treatment could result in improved outcomes for patients and lower costs to the health system overall. Protean is focused on improving diagnosis for Barrett’s esophagus condition using advanced methods including image analysis and the use of artificial intelligence.
Protean has partnered with Florida Digestive Specialists to perform this collaborative research study.
