Protean Announces New Partnership with Pictor, Inc.

Pictor, Inc. has entered into a collaboration agreement with Protean BioDiagnostics to address the unmet needs of autoimmune and chronic infectious diseases.

Pictor, Inc., has entered into a collaboration agreement with Protean BioDiagnostics to address the unmet needs of autoimmune and chronic infectious diseases. Under the agreement, Protean BioDiagnostics will develop and validate the Pictor PictHealth™ Extractable Nuclear Antigen (ENA) IgG Multiplex ELISA, which identifies antibodies associated with autoimmune diseases to help diagnose and monitor lupus and other connective tissue disorders. These autoantibodies may attack the body’s own tissues, leading to inflammation, organ damage, and related complications. The Pictor PictHealth™ is a suite of high-performance multiplexed ELISA products for human health. Utilizing a next generation approach with multiple antigens micro-printed into each well of a 96-well plate provides much more diagnostic information from both serum and saliva samples in under 2.5 hours.
